Hi, we have some problem with pdf file signing.

We downloaded the sample code SigningPDFDocumentWithPKICertificate. We generated a NSData from a p12 file conform to the PKCS#7 and called injectDigestToken with this NSData as token parameter. All seems go right but when we opened the pdf from a PC to verify the signature and there is no sign field into document.

How can i see the signature in the document?

    Regards

    Hello, Jonatan

    Thank you for the inquiry.
Could you tell me in more detail about the words you said “there is no sign field into document.” ?
do you want to show a token image in PDF Document?
Actually if you just used a injectDigestToken method, token image isn’t visible. because token data has no appearance.
if you want to see a token image in PDFDocument, you have to use a insertImage method in PlugPDFDocument.
and this is the link about the PKI signing.

    Hello, thanks for your response.

    I do the following steps:

    1. Create an image element into pdf:
    [PlugPDFDocument insertImage:_inputPDFURL destPath:_imagePDFURL imagePath:_imageURL password:@”” point:CGPointMake(0, 0) height:180 pageIdx:0]

    2. Create a signature field
    [PlugPDFDocument createSignatureField:_imagePDFURL
    destPath:_signPDFURL
    contentPath:_contentURL
    password:@””
    pageIdx:0
    name:@”jhon”
    reason:@”reason tests”
    location:@”world”]

    3. Inject digest token to PDF create in step 2
    [PlugPDFDocument injectDigestToken:_signPDFURL
token:[signatureHandler getSignature] // this method generate NSData from pfx file
    offset:field.offset]

What am I doing wrong? Because i can see the image into PDF (with acrobat) but i can’t see the signature field 🙁

    Regards
