    Hello,
I’m trying to fill some forms on an existing PDF and I’m running into some issues. Here’s my code:

Unfortunately, this triggers a breakpoint on `[form saveAnnot], and if I continue the resulting PDF is not formatted correctly. I can only see the entered data when I click the form in Adobe Reader, but my entered data disappears when I click away from the form.

Thank you for your question, Tasos.
We couldn’t replicate that error by using your example attached.
Would you please send it to us within the context of a basic sample project?

Okay, I’ve uploaded the project here:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwBzQ4nAjjzSQ2szNUZiZUE5dEE/view?usp=sharing

    Some instructions:
Run the project, enter some words into the fields, hit done, and it’ll generate a PDF in a temporary location. Open the PDF in Reader, click on the forms, and you’ll see what I mean.

    Thank you!

Unfortunately, we couldn’t test your project because there’s one file missing:

PSPDFKit.bund: No such file or directory error.

    Can you please check this?

    Hello Tasos,

Can you turn your setValue method into a setTextFieldValue one?

setValue is not a PlugPDF method, that’s why your annotation’s value is not being saved.

Thanks for your response. I tried implementing your fix, but I still get the same bug. Here’s a PDF with the bug in question. Open in an Adobe PDF reader and click on the fields to reproduce the bug.

    Hello Tasos,

I’m so sorry that I misunderstood your question; you’re right, there’s actually a problem and the text value isn’t shown at first.

Please, now be a little patient for us to fix this issue.

We’ll keep you posted on the progress of this fix as soon as possible.
