Is it possible to open the URLs inside the PDF document that start with “HTTP” in a Webview Activity and prevent the browser from opening.

I have set a an AnnotEventListener to the ReaderView class and I can open the Webview, but the browser is still being open. What method should I override to prevent the browser from opening?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello Granit,

What do you mean by “prevent the browser from opening.”?

I am sorry that I don’t entirely understand your remark.

Please, be so kind to attach some screenshots.

    Thank you.

I do not want to open the pdf using a url. I want to be able to handle the event of links on an already opened pdf document.

If e.g. I have a pdf document loaded in ReaderView and the document has a text somewhere in a page, is it possible to handle it’s click link event so I can open it in a webview instead of it’s default behaviour of opening via a web browser.

P.S. I forgot to mention this is for an Android app where I’m using plugpdf library.

    Thanks a lot

    Hi Granit,

Actually in our Plug PDF there is a event named AnnotEventListener.onTapUp(BaseAnnot annot)
So if you want to handle a link touch event, follow this examle

    Best Regards,
