    Pedro Almeida

    Hello,

    I’m experimenting with PlugPDF for a commercial product and I’m having a problem: when I open a PDF with it it changes the device brightness. Is there any way I can prevent that?

    Best regards,

    Hi Pedro,

    PlugPDF SDK save the last value for brightness. If you don’t want to use saved value, you set value after creating PlugPDFDocumentViewController such as below.

    PlugPDFDocumentViewController *viewController = nil;
    @try {
    NSString *name = [path lastPathComponent];
    viewController = [PlugPDFDocumentViewController initWithPath: path
    password: nil
    title: name];
    }
    @catch (NSException *exception) {
    NSLog(@”%@ %@”, exception.name, exception.description);
    }

    if (viewController) {
    [viewController setDisplayBrightness: [[UIScreen mainScreen ]brightness] * 100] ;
    }

    Cheers,
    Dr.Plug
