    Hi,

Could you extend the API to allow passing an NSData object with PDF contents instead of forcing opening a file?
Right now I receive file from network and decrypt it, and then I have to save it to disk for PlugPDF to open it – not convenient and not secure.

    Thanks,
    Yuriy

    Hello Yurly,

Do you want a open a PDFFile using a NSData right?
    Actually, you can!
if you used a method,- (id)initWithData: (NSData*)data password: (NSString*)password in PlugPDFDocument.
    you can open a PDF.

    …that’s right, sorry.
See, I’m trying to optimize my application, and to do that I wonder if I have to load whole NSData in memory, or can I do it in chunks.

I’ll ask it this way: how about a stream? Can you read data from a provided stream?

I can see there’s something like
    Pdf_CSInterpreter::runContentStreamInterpreter(Pdf_File*, Pdf_ResourceManager*, Gf_DictR, streams::InputStream*, bool)
    in your code.
Is it possible to expose stream load API to us? Please give it a consideration.

    Hello Yurly,

Actually in iOS, there isn’t API to open a PDF file using a input stream.
But fortunately, we’ll decided to make a new API which opens a PDF file using a inputstream.
We’ll make this API by Friday and will apply to new release version.
So could you wait for a few days?

    Best Regards,
