    Hey,

    Is it possible to provide us the library external, so we can use it in build.gradle as a dependency?

    So I want to use:
    dependencies {
    compile ‘com.plugpdf:plugpdf:1.0’
    }
    instead of the local dependency:
    dependencies {
    compile project(‘:plugpdf’)
    }

    Thanks for the info.

    Regards,
    Joachim

    Hi Joachim and Pieter,

    I apologise for the delay in replying.

    Your remarks are right, the library can be used as a dependency. However, that is not recommended because the plugpdf project is already using many resources from the project itself. So making a jar will cause the resources to be missed.

    If you want to use the plugpdf project as a jar file, you should first copy the data of the resources.

    Thank you,

    Dr. Plug

    Hi Dr. Plug,

    we are not talking about a JAR file, but an AAR file. The difference is that the AAR file contains the JAR file as well as the resources needed. If you publish these on maven or jcentral, it’s a lot easier to integrate in an existing project than using a linked project.

    You can read more about it on:

    Hello Pieter,

    Our team eventually decided not to publish it yet because at this moment the SDK is about to adjust to the new structure.

    Following this, we might publish maven or jcentral as suggested.

    Thank you very much,

    Dr. Plug

    Hi Dr. Plug,

    can you give us a timeframe for this?

    Can you also give us more information about the new structure you are talking about so that can we estime how much work would be required from us to support this?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Pieter,

    Thank you again for your feedback. We have been reconfiguring the project for Android Studio, and it may take a couple of weeks.

    We’ll do our best to fulfill your request after that.

    Thank you,

    Dr. Plug
