ePapyrus Inc. – purveyors of the finest PDF technology – sprang out of the back office of a little Sushi restaurant in Cupertino, California. Since its founding in 2003, the company has grown to employ 50+ people world wide and has a string of international customers.

Genesis

Starting small as a one man company, the founder Jeong Kim initially developed and sold the desktop PDF creation software – PDF-Pro – online. Yet, for all the Sushi and Sashimi that Jeong could enjoy before the shop closed each night, he began to feel lonely and thought longingly of home: Seoul, Korea. Not one to give up so easily on his dreams though, Jeong instead chose to hire three more people in Seoul and took the Korean market by storm.

Evolution

Today, ePapyrus Inc. is the top PDF Company in Korea with a list of clients that include Samsung, Sony, LG, Standard Chartered, Deloitte Consulting, AGFA, Schenker Logistics, the City of Houston, Supreme Court of Korea, the Maryland Department of Agriculture, KFDA (Korean Food & Drug Administration), and the National Tax Service (Korea). Over the past few years, we have developed dynamic technology solutions including server based PDF conversion, full scale and ISO standard conforming PDF parser and renderer, static PDF form editor, and dynamic PDF form editor based XFA.

New Targets

Launching new operations from Seattle recently, ePapyrus Inc. have now set their sights on the United States market and the introduction of our mobile PDF solution is the first thing on our list. And there is definitely no looking back as we are all geared up for our next milestone – the unveiling of more cutting edge products in the United States market very, very soon!
